All wethers/market goats must be weighed by 5:30 pm on Thursday August 18, 2011

RULES:
1.  All entries must have a USDA approved SCRAPIE tag.
2.  Unethical feeding and/or fitting practices are strictly forbidden by the Fairbury Fair jackpot Show and will be subject to immediate disqualification.
3.  This is an Open show. Any individual is eligible to show, no age requirements.
4.  All wethers/market goats must have their milk teeth in place at the time of showing and be shorn.
5.  Wether/Market goat classes will be divided according to weight.  We will offer market doe classes, wether classes, and pair of market goats (does,  wethers, or one of each)
6.  There will not be an official weigh-in conducted by the the superintendents.  Exhibitors will declare their entry weight by signing of the weight card.  The official scales will be available.
7.  The number of classes will depend on the number of wethers/market goats that arrive at the show.
8.  Any wether/market goat showing evidence of testicular tissue will be ineligible to show.
9.  Upon completion of each class, the Superintendents will weigh a minimum of the top two(2) wether/market goats.  Any wether/market goat which has gained more than 5 pounds from the weight listed on the entry weight card will be disqualified.
10.  All entries are subject to random drug, chemical, and foreign substance testing.
11.  All medications administered at the show will be administered by a licensed veterinarian onlyh.
12.  All exhibitors entering the show, by paying entry money agrees to the conditions set forth in the above rules.
13.  Entry fee is $6.00, Pen Fee is $4.00, CASH ONLY DAY OF SHOW.  No pre-entries. 
14.  All wethers/market goats weight cards must be turned in by 5:30PM on Thursday, August 18, 2011.
15.  Show will begin at 7:00pm.  Show order will be Market does, wethers, and pairs.
16.  Exhibitors are responsible for animal bedding.  WOOD CHIPS ONLY
17.  Exhibitors shall be responsible for the security, safety and care for their animals.
18.  Fairbury Fair reserve3s the right to refuse any exhibitors entry.
19.  Animals shall be released at the completion of the show.
100% PAYBACK OF ENTRY FEES.  GUARANTEED $100.00 FOR CHAMPIONS AND $50 FOR RESERVE CHAMPIONS.
